Merger of rail forwarding company Raabersped and logistics enterprise Transeuropa into Express-Interfracht Croatia
The logistics service provider Express-Interfracht (EXIF) has unified its market presence in Croatia. Since October the subsidiary of Rail Cargo Austria AG acts under the brand name Express-Interfracht Croatia d.o.o. in the Southeast European country. The company was formed by the merger of the rail forwarding company Raabersped d.o.o (Zagreb) and the contract logistics enterprise Transeuropa d.o.o. (Zagreb). Express-Interfracht Croatia offers a wide range of transport logistic services from one source, divided into the following segments: rail, air freight, ocean freight, customs declaration and warehousing. This opens new markets and strategic partnerships for RCA in Croatia, from which also customers shall profit. „Express-Interfracht will then be an interesting logistics and transport partner for Croatia’s economy and industry“, explains Friedrich Macher, Spokesman of the Management Board of Rail Cargo Austria AG. Express-Interfracht meets transport logistics requirements of customers with more than 60 locations in 20 countries of Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States as well as with an international partner network. Regular customers among others are companies from the coal and steel industry, consumer goods industry, producers of building material, the wood and paper industry, reputable energy providers and big retail chains.
