Finnlines integrates Rostock into schedule from December
New Finnlines liner service connecting Rostock with Poland and Finland The Finish ferry shipping company Finnlines is making the last preparations to open a new ferry connection from and to Germany. As of December the port of Rostock will be included in the liner network for passengers and freight, the enterprise announced in a press relase. As of 3 December a STAR or HANSA class ro-pax ship will depart from Rostock on Thuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 5 p.m. and sail to Gdynia and Helsinki. Cruising time to Finland’s capital (port of Vuosaari) is 19 hours. The Star-class ro-pax ferries will continue to operate their daily combined passenger/freight trips from Travemünde to Helsinki.
