Validation: bmvit Ministry of Transport worries forwarders
Representatives of the bmvit Ministry of Transport attest required neutrality and quality of Sequrity company:
The Ministry of Transport (bmvit) sees the company Sequrity Sicherheitstechnisches Zentrum GmbH above suspicion regarding the validation and lacking neutrality. In an interview with an air freight forwarder (see also the news about Validation) it is pointed out that no company of the Augustin Quehenberger Group is dealing with air freight, nor acting as a “regulated agent“.
In the statement the Sequrity company is referred to as the best suitable enterprise regarding quality, qualification, locations and experience, to carry out the validation. The selection was made after the tender last autumn according to the best knowledge.
The bmvit emphasises that no exporter has to become a “known shipper“. The alternative – screening – is still available. Enterprises can still select between the validation station and screening.
