For Vega International Car Transport & Logistics – Trading GmbH (Salzburg) intermodal road/rail transport is gaining importance. Last year a total of over 2,500 loaded rail cars were handled. This was linked with the transport of well over 6,000 vehicles on the rail. According to the management this resulted in saving around 1,005 tons of CO2-emissions.
