Waberer’s places major order at Schmitz Cargobull

Waberer’s International orders 600 more Schmitz Cargobull trailers for 2013
 
Waberer’s International Zrt. is has concluded an agreement to buy a further 600 semitrailers from Schmitz Cargobull. Together with previously purchased assets, the road transport company is putting 730 trailers of the European truck manufacturer on the road this year.
 
The background of this order is the aim of Waberer´s to strengthen and expand its position in Germany. This year the branded trailers shall complete approximately 10% more journeys than in 2012. A total of 1.8 million tonnes of goods will be transported to and from Germany and other EU countries.
 
The Waberer’s fleet consists of more than 3,000 trucks with Euro V engines. However, the company is also testing vehicles equipped with Euro VI engines. Waberer’s plans to invest approximately EUR 10 million in order to achieve its expansion goals in Germany. This investment programme includes the purchase of more than 700 new tractor units.
