Wallenborn expands in Sweden
Wallenborn Group, together with its affiliate Haugsted AirCargo Services, has opened an office at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. Located in the new Spirit Air Cargo Handling terminal in Arlanda Airport, the new office will coordinate services across Sweden on behalf of airlines, freight forwarders and cargo GSAs. Haugsted already three offices in the Nordic region: Copenhagen in Sweden, and Oslo and Billund in Denmark. Founded in 1920, Haugsted AirCargo Services is a wholly owned affiliate of the Wallenborn Group, and has offered pan-European road transport services since 1963. Following the successful acquisitions of Weis Transport, Haugsted AirCargo Services and Rutges Cargo in the past six years, Wallenborn now has a combined fleet of more than 550 vehicles and service centres in ten locations in nine countries.
