World Economic Forum and supply chain industry agree to achieve global vaccine distribution

Several international logistics providers have signed an agreement with the World Economic Forum to support the global distribution of the Covid-19 vaccines.

Several international logistics and supply chain providers have agreed to support the global effort to distribute the Covid-19 vaccines, in partnership with the World Economic Forum and UNICEF.

Signatories include AP Møller – Maersk; Agility; CMA CGM; DSV Panalpina; UPS; DP World; MSC, and others.

The agreement to support COVAX participant countries includes an engagement with governments, customs authorities, UNICEF, and NGO’s.

The agreement will see the World Economic Forum (WEF), and logistics providers aim to fill any gaps in Covid-19 vaccine distribution, to ensure appropriate “calls for action”, and the efficient distribution of the vaccines.
