www.check-cargo.com choses the way of internationalisation

Transport platform www.check-cargo.com launches portals for Germany, Italy and the Czech Republic and establishes an ‘Incoterms finder’

The international transport platform www.check-cargo.com grows across Austria’s borders. In the interview with the Austrian transport magazine Österreichische Verkehrszeitung Managing Director Oliver Lappel announces the soon launch of web-based portals for Germany, Italy and the Czech Republic. Local partners will support the company in terms of developing concepts in the official national languages and in marketing of the new service line in Italy and the Czech Republic.

Another news of www.check-cargo.com is a so-called ‘Incoterms finder’ that is being prepared. “Many shippers have not enough knowledge about reliabilities, costs and risks of international goods traffic. We want to eliminate this scenario“, says Managing Director Stefan Deixelberger.

“We will shortly improve usability for haulers, through offering exact search options – allowing to search for Bundeslaender and even districts, only national orders, import/export orders for an unlimited number of participants. Thus every disponent can exactly chose its orders.

The check-cargo.com market place supports enterprises from industry and trade with a quick and simple search for the right carrier for their cargo. “This saves transport costs and time“, explains Stefan Deixelberger. The company based in Perchtoldsdorf near Vienna helps forwarding enterprises and transporters with the quick and simple search of additional cargo, and with optimising their capacity utilisation or generation of additional turnover.

www.check-cargo.com is currently linking about 800 companies from the shipping industry, and about 250 transport and logistics providers. Every successfully mediated order is charged with 1.9 per cent of the freight charges. The aim of the management is to increase the utilisation of www.check-cargo.com in existing customer relations as well as gaining new cargo flows. “There is no registration fee, no risk and no effort necessary. Regularly quality-checked members increase security for participants“, explains Oliver Lappel.
