Nippon Cargo Airlines streamlines European programme

Frankfurt to be cut from Nippon Cargo Airlines schedule
 

The Japanese NCA Nippon Cargo Airline faces the difficult situation within global air freight business with drastic measures such as reductions within the European route network. In a press release the Management announces the withdrawal from the Frankfurt route. The German destination will no longer be part of the winter flight schedule 2009/10. The service from Japan – currently there are two course pairs per week on the schedule – will be ceased as of 25 October 2009. From then NCA freighters will only serve two European destinations: Amsterdam (6 flights per week) and Milan (4 course pairs per week).

Nippon Cargo Airlines was established in 1985 and currently operates a fleet consisting of 8 Boeing 747-400 freight aircrafts. The company’s global route network includes the Japanese airports Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka as well as the stations Achorage, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore and Bangkok.
