Prominent new member of the Board at Fiege Group

Stefan Kurrle changes from DHL to Fiege Group
 

A new member is to join the Executive Board of the Fiege Group in Greven (Germany). Dr. Stefan Kurrle (52) will become a Member of the Executive Board as of 1 February 2010 at latest. In addition to operative tasks the new member will act as Deputy CEO. Until now the Manager was holding the position of CEO at DHL Supply Chain for Central Europe. Since 2001 he controlled the contract logistics segment of Deutsche Post DHL for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

“We are glad to have an acknowledged expert for contract logistics in our top-management team", Dr. Hugo Fiege, CEO of the Fiege Stiftung & Co. KG, emphasised. The top management level of the Fiege Group is complete with Heinz Fiege and Dr. Hugo Fiege (Chief Executive Officers), Alfred Messink (Chief Financial Officer) and Jens Fiege (Chief Operations Officer). Carsten Taucke (Chief Operations Officer) will quit the enterprise at his own request in July 2010, which is when his Executive Board contract is to expire.
