Ahlers strengthens presence in eastern key markets
New locations of the Belgian Ahlers Group in the CIS and in Central Asia For the Belgian Ahlers Group the first days of the year 2010 are marked by making structures in eastern Europe and central Asia denser. In a press release the enterprise announced the opening of own locations in Minsk (Belarus), Aktau (Kazakhstan) and Urumqi in north-western China. The new branches are targeted to boost traffic from, to and between these regions. Ahlers is looking back on 100 years of tradition as a provider of transport and logistics services. The enterprise based in Antwerp operates in the fields of shipping agency, ship management, forwarding and contract logistics.
