Ambrogio invests into intermodal transport

400 new swap bodies for Italian transport logistics group Ambrogio
 

Ordering 400 swap bodies, the Italian Ambrogio Trasporti Group confirms their commitment to international intermodal transport solutions. The units will join the fleet in the course of the year 2010. All of them have a length of 13.6 metres and are certified according to the DIN EN 12642 standard.

Ambrogio Trasporti counts among the pioneers of intermodal transport in Italy. Established in 1957 the enterprise has been organising rail transportations for over 40 years now. The current offer comprises regular services on the routes from Italy to Germany, Benelux, France, England, Spain and Portugal, but also operations on relations within Europe, like from Spain to Germany and Poland. The total intermodal fleet consists of more than 1,300 swap bodies, as the Management states.
