APL shipping company starts feeder service to Estonia
New feeder service by APL container shipping company links the German seaports and Tallinn A new link within Europe was added to the worldwide route network of the APL container shipping company. As of now a weekly liner service is operated between the north German seaports Hamburg and Bremerhaven on the one hand, and Tallinn in Estonia on the other hand. The “National Glory“ offers a capacity of 575 TEU and reefer connections. The German-Tallinn-Shuttle (GTS) is the second link of APL between Hamburg and Tallin. Since December 2009 the north German seaport has been on the schedule of the Russia-Baltic-Express (RBX). The weekly departures are on Thursdays in Hamburg and on Fridays from Bremerhaven.
