Gefco Group: Luc Nadal succeeds Yves Fargues as CEO of the globally acting specialist in terms of industrial logistics
 
Gefco Group has a new CEO. Yves Fargues has decided to retire from his functions, effective on 1 July 2012. Mr. Fargues shall be named Non-Executive Chairman. Luc Nadal (50), currently Freight Transport and Logistics Director, is to take up the position of Chief Executive Officer.
 
Luc Nadal is a graduate of École Polytechnique. He was holding several functions within the Arthur Andersen and Mensia Conseil strategy and management consultancy, before he changed to the transport and logistics industry in 2005. In this new segment Luc Nadal held top management functions with Naviland Cargo, SNCF Geodis, Fret SNCF and since September 2010 with Gefco.
 
Through its six key areas of expertise – Logistics, Gefboxsystem, Overseas, Overland, Vehicle Distribution and Customs and Tax Representation – the Gefco Group delivers global, innovative solutions in both domestic and international, and inbound and outbound logistics for a full range of industrial requirements.
