CMA CGM new feeder service from Hamburg
CMA CGM offers more options for container transportations to Scandinavia and Poland The Hamburg program of the French shipping company CMA CGM was presented in an expanded form. Since the mid of January a new feeder service connects the north German seaports with the Danish ports Fredericia and Copenhagen, the Swedish Halmstad and the Polish Baltic Sea port Szczecin. CMA CGM operates the new route with the feeder vessel “Electron“, which is chartered from the shipping company JR Shipping in Harlingen. It provides a slot capacity of 658 TEU and 100 connections for refrigerated containers. With a carrying capacity of 6,860 tons the vessel has a maximum draft of 7.1 metres and a cruising speed of 17 knots. |
