CMA CGM upgrades its West Med – Morocco Service Shipping lines

CMA CGM and Comanav will serve the West Med/Morocco trade through three separated loops

The French liner shipping company CMA CGM and its Moroccan subsidiary, Comanav, will upgrade their service linking the riparian states of the West Mediterranean Sea to Morocco next week. The previously offered service schedule will be replaced by three separately operated loops on the trades between Italy and Morocco, France and Morocco as well as Spain and Morocco. The separation of the services is aimed at shortening the transit time and increasing service quality. Loop 1 (Spain-Morocco) operates on the following port rotation: Valencia, Barcelona, Casablanca, Valencia. Loop 2 operating on the corridor between Italy and Morocco serves the following rotation: Naples, La Spezia, Genoa, Casablanca, Salerno and Naples. Loop 3, operated with two ro-ro vessels, serves the trade between Marseille and Casablance and back twice per week.
