DSV continues its expansion in Central and Eastern Europe

DSV has opened a new warehouse near Senec (Slovakia) and an International Shared Service Center in Warsaw
 
DSV, a global supplier of transport and logistics solutions, improves its services in Slovakia with a new opened warehouse. The 12,500 m² building has recently been started up in Prologis Park near Senec, close to the capital Bratislava. Some parts are prepared for dangerous goods. Due to a cross-docking area of 2,400 m² and 20 ramps, the new location offer services for consolidating goods. Moreover there are daily departures to all European countries and 24/7 delivery within Slovakia.
 
DSV realized a further expansion in Europe to focus on optimizing processes and to reduce overhead. In April an International Shared Service Centre was opened in Warsaw. The idea is to cut costs by combining administrative and transaction-intensive tasks in one specialized unit in one city and building.  “We have noted that we have access to a highly qualified workforce in Warsaw”, announces Michael Ebbe, Group Finance Director.
