Egger Kft. expands its fleet

Hungarian branch of Styrian Egger Transport GmbH puts into service three new Scania semitrailer trucks

The Hungarian subsidiary of Egger Transport GmbH (Kapfenberg) is consolidated in the form of three new Scania semitrailer trucks. With these new units the fleet of the Hungarian trucks grows to ten units. The vehicles are operated by native drivers. However the company would not be able to compete at Austrian cost level.

Basically the same rules apply to Egger Kft., the branch in Töltestava near Györ, as well as to the Austrian parent company: „On the road we transport mainly goods requiring particular, individual transport solutions. Preferred fields of operation are special transportations with over size and over weight, as well as crane transportations at and to construction sites in Hungary, Romania and Slovakia“, explains managing director Anton Egger.

Egger Transport was operating a branch near Györ since 1994. At that time the company followed the call of some customers to the opening market. Since then they expanded their commitment successively. The aim of the expansion was and is being represented by native employees directly in this market, which is difficult but interesting, as estimates Anton Egger.
