Emirates to launch double daily service to Vienna on 27 March

Second daily non-stop flight with Emirates Airline between Dubai and Vienna becomes reality

 

“Double daily“ to Vienna is the new motto of Emirates Airline. With effect from 27 March 2011 the United Arab Emirates airline adds a second daily non-stop flight between Vienna and Dubai to its Austrian schedule in response to the strong demand. The additional flights will initially be operated on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The courses will take off at 10.50 pm. in Vienna with a scheduled arrival in Dubai at 6.30 am. the next morning. The flights will be operated with Airbus 340-500, offering about 15 tons of cargo hold each.

Offering two daily connections on most days of the week, Emirates offers travellers and forwarders more flexibility ex Vienna. “It has always been our aim to serve Vienna as well twice per day“, explains Martin Gross, Director Emirates Austria, Hungary and Slovakia. „The start of these additional flights proves the success of our work in Austria. The landing time in the morning in Dubai guarantees direct connections to eleven destinations in Africa, as well as to a large number of cities on the Indian subcontinent, in Asia and Australia.“ Emirates flies currently daily ex Vienna under the flight number EK128 at 2.35 pm. to Dubai (arrival: 10.55 pm.). This non-stop link is operated with a Boeing 777-300-ER. Vienna has been a regular destination within the intercontinental network of the airline since 2004, It comprises currently more than 100 destinations in more than 65 countries.
