Emriates SkyCargo optimises its CEE network

New road feeder services of Emirates SkyCargo to connect its destination Prague to the industrial centres northern Moravia and southern Poland from July

Emirates SkyCargo, the air cargo segment of the Emirates Airline, is taking action to improve its service in central and eastern Europe. “The daily line from Dubai to Prague and back will be complemented in the form of road feeder services towards Olomouc, Katowice and Wroclaw from July“, as Ran Menen, Divisional Senior Vice President Emirates SkyCargo, announced in the interview with the paper LogEASTics.

Menen refers to the countries in central and eastern Europe as areas that provide interesting growth opportunities. Emirates SkyCargo covers them in the form of liner services from Dubai to Vienna and Prague v. v. as well as via Frankfurt and Munich. Shipments with points of departure or destination in Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania or Former Yugoslavia are transhipped via Vienna. The schedule offers currently 13 course pairs per week. The daily Prague flight, operated with Airbus A330 jets, covers mainly the Czech Republic and southern Poland.

The June issue of the paper LogEASTics will report more detailed on Emirates SkyCargo’s CEE services.
