Exclusive cooperation of Kuehne + Nagel and Teleroute in Europe
Freight exchange Teleroute connects European load and part load business of more than 100 Kuehne + Nagel branches
Kuehne + Nagel and Teleroute announced the signing of an exclusive cooperation agreement, which covers more than 100 branches of the forwarding company in Europe. The Teleroute solution supports Kuehne + Nagel with improving its load and part load traffic in Europa in the form of further increasing efficiency and reducing empty kilometres and CO2-emissions. The involved Kuehne + Nagel branches will therefore use the Teleroute SMARTLINK. This solution includes an exclusive „private exchange”, which provides access to all connected Kuehne + Nagel sites. Moreover it contains a “partner exchange” that provides Kuehne + Nagel’s preferred transport partners insight into the freight offerings. If no cargo hold and loads, respectively, are on offer in the private and partner exchange, search is automatically forwarded to the classic Teleroute freight and load exchange and is then available to all Teleroute users in Europe. “The cooperation with Teleroute enables us to increase the efficiency of our daily business within our network and at the same time make services more environmentally friendly“, says Thomas Kroyer, Senior Vice President of Kuehne + Nagel Management AG and in charge of load and part load business. “We are proud to announce the signing of the agreement with Kuehne + Nagel”, Raimundo Diaz, CEO of Teleroute adds. “On the basis of need analysis and our tailored solution we offer a customised service and important added value.
