Fercam Austria posts steady uptrend

Strong increase of employees and turnover of the Austrian subsidiary Fercam Austria GmbH

 

Fercam Austria, the Austrian subsidiary of the internationally acting transport and logistics enterprise Fercam, was able to generate a total turnover of EUR 16 million thanks to a successfully implemented growth strategy in 2010. Also in the first quarter of this financial year they registered a visible increase in turnover and the number of employees.

Established in 2008 in Wörgl, Fercam Austria GmbH, the Austrian subsidiary of the South Tyrolean transport and logistics enterprise Fercam operates also a branch in Brunn am Gebirge near Vienna. The company has currently 26 employees. Before the end of 2012, Fercam Austria’s managing director Christian Jarnig is expecting a rise to 50 jobs.

Fercam Austria GmbH is active in European wide FTL Freight Management. The UK is currently the major relation of the company, where they handle more than 20,000 shipments or crossings via the Channel per year.

The parent company offers services in the following segments: Full Truck Load, International distribution with daily departures in Europe, Logistics and national general cargo transport as well as sea and air freight. Fercam has 35 locations in Italy and 18 more in Europe.
