Second location of the Fercam group in North Africa offers comprehensive services and an extra logistics centre

They just recently founded their second North African subsidiary in the Tunisian Harbour city Rades. Fercam Tunisine Ges.m.b.H. completes the operations of the branch in Morocco.

The new enterprise is equally held by Fercam Italy, Fercam Spain and a Tunisian partner, Mohamed Aifaoui, who has long-term business relations with Fercam Italy. The Tunisian legislation requires investors from abroad to have a local partner involved. “We wanted to have a local Tunisian partner involved anyway, as they know the environment and has the required know how and local business relations“, says Jano Ingallinera, in charge of these markets for Fercam. “We decided to go to Tunisia because this country serves as a platform for transportations from and to Tunisia, Algeria and Libya. These traffic flows are joined via the Tyrrhenian ports and Catalonia (Spain) and goods are transported in our trailers on RoRo vessels.”

Fercam Tunisie offers full truck load transport, international general cargo transport, air and sea freight between Tunisia and Europe as well as from and to Libya and Algeria. Moreover the enterprise has its own local logistics centre. In addition to the transportations between Europe and Tunisia, they call also Libya and Algeria.
