Forwarding company Schneckenreither opens new branch in St. Pölten

International forwarding company Schneckenreither from Ansfelden near Linz strengthens its presence in the domestic market Austria

 

For the international forwarding company Schneckenreither the business year 2010 ends with the establishment of another branch in Austria. Following the set up of the location in Salzburg in spring, a site in Greater St. Pölten was opened in mid-November. The new station is situated in the industrial zone Burgerfeld in Wilhelmsburg.

„Our branch in St. Pölten will offer the complete range of our services“, says Managing Director Kommerzialrat Alfred Schneckenreither. Both employees Maria Tremmel and Gerhard Parsch have more than 30 years of branch expertise. They will strengthen the geographical and market specific presence of the Schneckenreither group.

As a private enterprise the international forwarding company Schneckenreither offers full logistics solutions based on the service functions land transport, parcel logistics, air/sea freight and warehousing logistics. The company’s network comprises apart form the ehadquarters in Ansfelden also own locations in Wiener Neudorf, St. Pölten (new), Klagenfurt, Graz, Salzburg, Budapest and Prague as well as operational sites in Linz, Wels and Marchtrenk.

In its function as a competence centre for forwarding services the enterprise is part of a private group of companies with around 350 employees at 16 locations in Central Europe. Their fleet of the Schneckenreither corporate group 158 low-emission trucks and around 100 swap trailers. The warehousing logistics division is based on more than 55,000 m² own-operated hall space.
