Freja Group takes over Cargo Express International

Acquisition of Cargo Express International fructifies south European services of Freja Group

The process of concentration in the Danish forwarding industry has gained a facet. Cargo Express International Transport & Spedition Aps is one more provider to lose its independency. The enterprise based in Vejle was taken over by Freja Transport & Logistics A/S as of 30 October 2009. The transaction consolidates the position on the transport connections from and to southern Europe, as the headquarters of the purchaser in Skive announced.

In the past years Freja Transport & Logistics has established a network of own locations in northern Europe (Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland). The enterprise serves all branches of international forwarding. More than 600 employees generated a turnover of EUR 307 million last year.
