G. Englmayer forwarding company expands in Romania

G. Englmayer opens new location in Bucharest and relocates branch from Cluj to Floresti

The Wels-based forwarding company G. Englmayer enhances its commitment in southeastern Europe. These days a new location is to start operating in Romania’s capital Bucharest. An experinced team of forwarders and logisticians will be working at the branch. Therefore all logistics services can be offered to the customers in Greater Bucharest, as the Upper Austrian company-headquarters announce. The centre-piece of the new location is the freight forwarding terminal, which comprises 1,500 sq. m. warehousing and throughput area.

In June the location in Cluj Napoca was relocated to the directly neighbouring Floresti. “The new freight forwarding terminal in Floresti is directly connected to the motorway and offers a roofed ramp and gate area with around 3,000 sq. m. throughput and warehousing area for an efficient handling of customers’ goods. Equipped with "state-of-the-art" IT infrastructure in the office and warehousing area, the building meets the requirements for providing ambitious logistics solutions“, the Management of G. Englmayer announces.

G. Englmayer has been serving the Romanian market with an own location since August 2003. The 25 employees provide services in the fields of groupage, part and full loads, national/international, express delivery, warehousing logistics, high-tech transportations plus assembly, customs clearance and supply of retail markets. The whole group has around 450 employees at locations in Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia and Romania. The 2009 annual turnover amounted to EUR 70 million.
