| Gebrüder Weiss starts construction of a new hub for national distribution in Romania The Gebrüder Weiss group starts tackling a new building project in Romania. These days the works have started to construct a logistic facility in Sibiu. On a 30,000 m² area a building complex with a 1,000 m² hall will be set up. The facility designed as a cross docking hub is planned to start operating as a main throughput junction for national distribution this autumn. The investment totals to about EUR 1.9 million. Gebrüder Weiss has been present with an own branch in Romania since the takeover of the majority of the Cargolog logistics company in 2001. The network of the transport and logistics service provider in the Southeast European country comprises locations in Bucharest, Arad, Sibiu, Bacau and Craiova and around 160 employees.
