Badge of honour for MDK-head Hubert Mierka and decree for EVN’s Franz Klemm
Two men with a profound knowledge of the transport and logistics industry in Austria were honoured for their outrageous professional performances last week. Minister for Economic Affairs Reinhold Mitterlehner gave the badge of honour, awarded by the Federal President for Services to the Republic of Austria, to Hubert Mierka. Franz Klemm was given the decree to use the Austrian professional title Technischer Rat. According to a press release of the Federal Ministry for Economic, Youth and Family, Hubert Mierka, MBA, is the Vice-Chairman of the department of forwarders at the Economic Chamber of Lower Austria, managing partner of the port company Mierka Donauhafen Krems GmbH in Krems/Danube and a shareholder of Danufert HandelsgmbH in Vienna. In the paper DI Franz Klemm is presented as the head of the research department at the Lower Austrian energy supply company EVN-Energieversorgung Niederösterreich AG in Maria Enzersdorf.
