Fashion chain H&M chooses DB Schenker Logistics as a partner for store delivery in Bulgaria and Greece; Bulgarian branch of the forwarding company celebrates 20th anniversary
DB Schenker Logistics serves a prominent new customer in Southeast Europe. Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) recently awarded a contract for the management of all activities related to the store supply with a diverse fashion range to the Bulgarian branch of the worldwide provider of transportation and logistics services. The fashion company has expanded its branch network in Bulgaria in the past two years and is now cared for by a team of 50employees of DB Schenker.
DB Schenker supplies the H&M stores within 24 hours. Even the Greek transhipment hubs in Thessaloniki and Athens from H&M are regularly served. Currently ten H&M stores and 27 stores in Greece are linked on a regular basis to the 7,000 m² logistics warehouse in Iliensko district of Sofia.
Besides winning the new customer H & M celebrates Schenker EOOD, Bulgaria’s national organization in the global DB Schenker network in these days, the anniversary of the 20th anniversary. The company has seven locations and 230 employees. The logistics terminal in Sofia / Bozhurishte is one of the most modern in the country.
