Germany’s biggest port for import of fodder J. Müller Agri Terminal Brake wins prize for security in transhipment of bulk goods
 
The specialist magazine International Bulk Journal (IBJ) awarded "IBJ-Award" in the category "Award for Safety in Bulk Handling" to the The J. Müller Agri Terminal Brake in Hamburg. This is an official honour among experts for the comprehensive actions of the company regarding process and quality management, as well as meeting environmental standards for transhipment of agricultural and bulk goods.
 
To be nominated for the "IBJ-Award", the terminal operator had to show how supply chains of the shipping industry can be made more efficient with the use of optimised processes, with respect to current quality and environmental standards. The J. Müller Agri Terminal’s concept won against many competitors.
 
The J. Müller Agri Terminal Brake is Germany’s biggest port for import of fodder and has one of the biggest connected silo facilities in Europe. The site offers good conditions for transhipment, storage, processing and transport of various agricultural and bulk goods. Up to 20,000 tonnes of grain and fodder per day can be unloaded at the terminal. 465,000 tonnes of warehousing capacity guarantee flexible service for customers.
