Iveco renews contract with Kuehne + Nagel
Kuehne + Nagel manages majority of Iveco’s European spare parts logistics Kuehne + Nagel remains partner N° 1 for Iveco’s spare parts logistics in Europe. The Italian manufacturer of commercial vehicles has awarded the globally acting provider of transport and logistics services with a renewal of its current logistics service contract for a further period of three years. Before this decision was made, Kuehne + Nagel implemented many innovations for its regular customer, like RFID and the installation of pick-by-voice technologies in warehouses. Kuehne + Nagel operates five logistics centres with a total of 300,000 sq.m. in Turin (Italy), Langenau (Germany), Madrid (Spain), Trappes (France) and Winsford (UK) by order of Iveco. As a partner for distribution the forwarding company handles an annual flow of around nine million order lines. The total weight of outgoing cargo amounts to more than 60,000 tons.
