Jade Cargo shortly starting Vienna services

Jade Cargo International flying from Asia to Austria

Preparations to start a regular freighter connection from China to Austria are in their end stage at Jade Cargo International. The maiden flight will land on 5 July in Vienna. In the initial stage two weekly services are on the schedule. From the end of August the offer is planned to be extended to four weekly operations. The Vienna-services are based on a sales cooperation with Austrian Airlines Cargo.

Jade Cargo International, based in Shenzhen in the People’s Republic of China, employs 390 persons who operate a fleet of six Boeing 747-400 ER freight aircrafts, with a capacity of about 120 tons each. The company was established in 2004. The company shares are held by Shenzhen Airlines (51%), Lufthansa Cargo (25%) and DEG – Deutsche Investitions- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft (German company for investment and development).
