JCL eCommerce (Werndorf) “goes Germany”

Kick-off for European-wide expansion with the specialist for eCommerce and end customer fulfilment JCL eCommerce

The establishment of a network to serve customers in Europe on an area-covering basis, which JCL eCommerce GmbH (Werndorf) has been striving for, is about to be implemented. On 1 August 2010 the international expansion was kicked off. Besides the branches in Styria, Austria, the company opened an office in Garching, near Munich. Alongside the Austrian team, the German team provides the entire supply of services within eCommerce and end customer fulfillment. For JCL eCommerce, the expansion to Germany is “the first, logical step towards an area-wide support for our customers all over Europe”. Consequently, the market leadership in Europe is the appointed target in the medium term. “We offer everything from a single source: conception, implementation, platform, customer care, debtors’ management and logistics. And we do provide this as a modular system, in order to retain our flexibility and accompany the various development stages of our customers in the best possible way”, underlines Stephan Jöbstl, CEO at JCL AG.

On July 1 2010 JCL Logistics has taken over the majority share of the Europe-wide operating IT- and customer service supplier Nekom Informationstechnik GesmbH, which now acts as JCL eCommerce GmbH on the market. Internationally operating customers like NKD, Intersport, Botarin and Deutsche Lufthansa are served in this context.

JCL Logistics, with its headquarters located at the Cargo Center Graz, Werndorf, operates logistics activities in the fields of Sea+Air, Overland, Fashion, Furniture, mySOLUTION and eCommerce, in more than 25 countries. At present 1,600 employees generate a turnover of more than EUR 550 million.
