Johann Weiss GmbH expands across the Danube
New location of the Johann Weiss forwarding company in Groß-Enzersdorf near Vienna is to start with 10 employees
Johann Weiss GmbH based in Wiener Neudorf has expanded its presence in Greater Vienna. Opening a location in the municipality Groß-Enzersdorf the medium-sized family enterprise set up the basis for a better service for customers and business partners in Vienna’s disctricts Leopoldstadt, Brigittenau, Floridsdorf and Donaustadt, as well as Lower Austria’s districts Gänserndorf, Korneuburg, Hollabrunn and Mistelbach.
In Groß-Enzersdorf Johann Weiss rents the forwarding facility that was previously operated by Rhenus Freight Logistics. They took over ten employees from the predecessor, who provide services in the segments transport (national/international general cargo) and logistics. The warehouse at the new location offers space for around 10,000 pallets. ”We want to use the full capacity as soon as possible“, says Peter Banovits, authorised signatory of Johann Weiss, when talking to the Austrian transport magazine Österreichische Verkehrszeitung.
