New DB Schenker Logistics branch in Osijek serves customers from the Croatian region Slawonia:

DB Schenker Logistics consolidated its presence in Croatia. The company just opened branch in Osijek, the seventh in the south-east European country. The new location has a 1,000 m² warehouse and 150 m² office space. Activities in Osijek were started four months ago through establishing a sales office. The reception from the local customers animated Schenker doo to establish a location with all operative options there earlier than planned.

“Through this step we develop the economically interesting Coratian region Slawonia“, explains Martin Kuen, managing director Schenker doo. Slawonia is deemed to be the granary of Croatia. The cities Osijek, Slavonski Brod and Vukovar are important economic centres. “We are able to offer companies in Slawonia a direct connection to the worlwide network of DB Schenker and strengthen their competitiveness“, Martin Kuen points out the most important advantage for customers.

Schenker doo has currently 110 employees at branches in Zagreb (national headquarters with cross docking warehouse and a separate logistics terminal), Jankomir, Krapina, Rijeka, Split, Ploce and now also Osijek. The logistics terminal in Zagreb was opened in April 2011.
