LogServ operates new regular block train service
| New CargoServ transport connecting Linz and Donawitz Between April and June 2009 LogServ will operate as a private railway company under the brand CargoServ in transporting coke and sieved coal from Linz to Donawitz. As the voestalpine-plant in Linz is not operating to its full capacity because of the current order situation in the steel industry, the vacant capacities are partly used to supply the location in Donawitz. Since April 3, LogServ drives every day a train carrying around 600 net tons of coke (22 wagons per operation) from Linz to Donawitz on behalf of the voestalpine Rohstoffbeschaffung GmbH – for a period of three months.
