Maersk Line consolidates market appearance in Koper
| Maiden journey of Maersk Line’s ALEX-service in eastern Mediterranean Sea These days Maersk Line expands their service range in the Mediterranean Sea. Inspite of the global financial and economic crisis the Danish shipping company launches a new regular service. The new loop links the ports of the northern Adriatic Sea to several places in the eastern Mediterranean Sea. Maersk Line markets the new service under the name ALEX Adriatic Levant Express. Two vessels operate the following port rotation: Alexandria, Ashdod, Koper, Ravenna, Piräus, Limassol and Alexandria. The first call of the vessel in Koper is scheduled for 23rd November.
