Mann Lines Germany launches new RoRo liner service

Mann Lines starts liner service from Santander to Cuxhaven

The Bremen-based Mann Lines GmbH adds one more ro/ro service from northern Spain to Cuxhaven to its liner service offer. The M/S „BORDEN“ deployed in the service is loaded on Mondays in Santandér and discharged in Cuxhaven.

The basis for the new service is formed by a new order for regular shipment of new cars for the German market from Santandér to Cuxhaven. In addition to this service Mann Lines accepts every kind of rolling load (cars, trucks, harvesting equipment, construction machines, semitrailers) but also general cargo such as construction materials, paper, timber, chipboards and wind power facilities. For other types of loads Mann Lines offers the full transport chain from door-to-door from Germany, Benelux, Switzerland and Austria to Spain, Portugal, France and back.

Moreover this service enables Cuxhaven to act as a hub between Spain, Finland, Paldiski and Great Britain, as the Seaports Niedersachsen announced in a press release. On the medium term Vlissingen shall be used as an additional port of discharge, depending on the increase-rate of volumes. If there is further demand Le Havre or Southampton are also optional ports for loading and discharging operations.
