New FM Logistic platform in Central Europe
FM Logistic opens logistics terminal in Olszowa (Poland) In Poland a new logistics facility was recently opened for the FMCG industry (Fast Moving Consumer Goods). The operator of the terminal is FM Logistic, a French specialist for contract logistics. The location is situated in Olszowa in the city of Ujazd on the connection between Wroclaw and Gliwice. The new building offers around 10,000 sq. m. of hall area. A covered complex with 6,500 sq. m. is available for warehousing services. Another 3,600 sq.m. are to be used for services in the field of co-manufacturing. FM Logistic employs around 100 persons in Olszowa to serve the customer Cadbury Polska. This company opened a plant in Skarbimierz that is dealing with the production of chewing gums. On the long term the logistics platform might be expanded to 120,000 sq. m. and 500 employees.
