Three Actros Euro 6 by Mercedes-Benz in the Hödlmayr Group fleet

Hödlmayr Logistics is one of the first vehicle fleets in Europe featuring the especially environmentally-friendly Euro 6 trucks

The cooperation of the Pappas Group with the Hödlmayr company in Schwertberg has a new addition. The vehicle logistics company took over the first three Mercedes-Benz Actros Euro 6 vehicles a couple of days ago. Those especially environmentally-friendly vehicle-transporters are used for international transports on behalf of the ADAC.

Hödlmayer Logsitics is one of the first vehicle forwarders in Europe which has integrated the Mercedes Euro 6 trucks into their fleet. This move is backed by the "Go Green" philosophy of the company and their quest to reduce fuel consumption, offer Eco-Training for the drivers, the utilisation of renewable types of eneergy and the minimisation of empty trips. Hödlmayr already has one of the biggest solar plants in Belgium and own their own hyrdo-electric power plants.

Hödlmayr International AG is active in 14 countries and employs a total of 1.300 people. The company operates warehousing space for 75.000 vehicles as well as 550 specialised vehicle transporters and ten block-train concepts. With an annual turnover of about 190 mill. Euros they forward about 1 million vehicles. As releasing agent (who is also responsible for quality checks of the new vehicles) Hödlmayr handles about 550.000 new vehicles each year.
