New service option for parcel reception with GLS Austria

ShopDelivery service gives goods recipients the option to collect their orders in 600 GLS PaketShops throughout Austria
 
The parcel service GLS Austria now offers parcel recipients a new option to collect their ordered goods. Who is not home very often can have the parcel delivered directly to a GLS PaketShop. Webshops and other senders therefore book the new ShopDelivery service. Recipients may have their ordered goods sent directly to one of 600 GLS PaketShops and collect them there.
 
If a webshop is directly connected to the PaketShop search, customers are provided with everything necessary. During the ordering process the customer can directly select the address of the PaketShop, to which GLS shall deliver the goods. As soon as the driver delivers the parcel at the requested shop, GLS Austria informs the recipient via e-mail or text message. The parcel is then available for collection for nine work days.
 
“Many private recipients are not home during the day, but pass a GLS PaketShop during the day. The new ShopDelivery service is the most comfortable way for them to receive a parcel“, says Klaus Schädle, Managing Director Europe South GLS. “When selecting our shops, which are integrated to tobacco shops, fuel stations and other shops, we pay special attention to long opening hours and good locations.“
