Kögel Cargo Rail-trailer to be used in Spedition Nothegger’s fleet for multimodal transport

The Tyrolean forwarding company Nothegger Transport Logistik GmbH takes over 30 new Kögel Cargo Rail-trailers for its fleet. In the sense of environmental protection the forwarder is shifting about 50 million road kilometres to the railway each year, thereby reducing its CO2-emissions by around 40,000 tons. The Kögel Cargo Rail is available from an empty weight of 6,680 kg. Technically permissible load of the Nothegger trailers is 15,000 kg, and permissible total weight in Austria is 33,000 kg. In total the vehicle measures 13,950 mm in length and has a width of 2,550 mm.

Specialising in multimodal transport the forwarding company Nothegger Transport Logistik GmbH from St. Ulrich am Pillersee, Tyrol, was established in 1992 and has eleven international loactions and a fleet of 400 vehicles. Apart from special transportations such as waste and dangerous goods transport, food transportations in refrigerated vehicles and transportations with canvas-covered vehicles form the core business. The owner-managed family enterprise Kögel is able to look back on 75 years of company history. In addition to products for the forwarding industry the company offers also models for the construction industry.
