Nothegger Transport grows with intermodal services

Strong growth of Nothegger Transport Logistik GmbH to be continued throughout 2012

There are signs for a strongly increased business activity in 2012 for Nothegger Transport Logistik GmbH. In the interview with the Austrian transport magazine Österreichische Verkehrszeitung, Managing Director Karl Nothegger jun. said he assumes turnover to increase by around 30 per cent from EUR 120 million. Thus the enterprise based in St. Ulrich am Pillersee, Tyrol, would continue its growth from last year. The main growth drivers were and are the intermodal transport activities launched in 2010, on the north-south corridor from Germany, via Austria to Italy.

Nothegger Transport Logistik GmbH celebrates its 20-years jubilee in 2012. The family enterprise offers a wide range of transport and logistics services. These include full load and less than full load transport on the road and service concepts for refrigerated and fresh goods transport, the intermodal segment, the system logistics segment (general cargo national/international) and warehousing logistics at the site in Radfeld. These activities are carried out by about 850 employees at twelve locations in Austria, Germany, Italy and Slovakia.
