Panalpina launches three new, direct consolidated cargo services

Panalpina’s LCL services connect Vietnam, Cambodia and the Philippines via the hub in Singapore to the rest of the world:

Panalpina offers its ocean freight customers three new consolidated cargo services (Less than Container Load) through its own Pantainer Express Line. The new guaranteed weekly LCL services from Haiphong (Vietnam), Phnom Penh (Cambodia) and Cebu (Philippines) are connected to the Asian key hub in Singapore. With transit times between three days from Phnom Penh, six days from Haiphong and nine days from Cebu, Panalpina can offer a reliable alternative to existing Full Container Load (FCL) and air freight services in these trades.

The new LCL services are part of Panalpina’s long term strategy to grow business on key Asia trade lanes, especially on the Far East Westbound, Transpacific Eastbound, Intra Asia, Asia to Latin America and Asia to Middle East trade. Singapore is the most significant hub in Asia.

“Intra Asia plays a pivotal role in our global LCL network and in the group’s growth strategy. We are constantly adding new services through our in-house carrier Pantainer Express Line in this fast growing market to simplify and extend access for our customers”, said Carsten Meyer, Global Head of Ocean Freight LCL at Panalpina.
