Pantos Logistics opens new logistics centre in Thailand

Pantos Logistics has opened a new logistics centre in Laem Chabang, Thailand, with an expectation for bolstering its local warehousing and distribution business.

The newly opened 10,000 sq m logistics centre was built on a 45,000 sq m site in an area close to Laem Chabang Port, the largest container terminal in Thailand. With it, Pantos Logistics expects to be able to handle up to 200,000 cu m of cargo a year. The company hopes to attract trade from local customers and businesses in nearby areas including automotive manufacturers, electronics goods manufactures and their subcontractors based locally.

In addition to the opening of the Laem Chabang logistics centre, Pantos Logistics plans to expand its inland transportation in Thailand. The company also announced plans to open a logistics centre in Indonesia.

Commenting on the opening of its new logistics centre in Thailand, a Pantos Logistics official said, "We are doing our best to enhance our inland transportation service capabilities through the supplementation of local logistics centres and the relevant infrastructure, in addition to port-to-port logistics operations, with the aim of providing first-rate logistics services to business customers."
