Export Award Transport 2014: Klacska, head of the transport commission of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce congratulates the Austrian Post AG
The Federal Sector Transport & Traffic of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce congratulates the winner of this year’s e special award for outstanding performances of the domestic transport industry in export, which has been awarded for the third time now: The Austrian Post AG was awarded the Austrian Export Award 2014 in the class of transport by the Dr. Reinhold Mitterlehner, Austrian Ministry of Science, Research and Economy, and Dr. Christoph Leitl, President of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce. DI Peter Umundum, CEO Parcel & Logistics and Mag. (FH) Stefan Heiglauer, Head of Parcel Logistics Austria of the Austrian Post took over the award in the course of a gala event on 24 June at Vienna’s MuseumsQuartier.
This way, the Austrian Chamber of Commerce honours the outstanding commitment and success of Austrian entrepreneurs abroad. “The high level of professionalism and expertise of the companies of our transport industry are playing a major role for the success of Austria’s export“, Alexander Klacska, Head of the of the transport commission of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce, emphasised on the occasion of the award ceremony in the course of the Austrian Export Day.
Apart from the Austrian Post, further nominees had been RUSSIA Fachspedition Dr. Lassmann GmbH based in Vienna and Tyrolean Jet Service Nfg GmbH & Co. KG. Austrian Post is operating in 13 countries and generates about one third of its turnover outside of Austria.
