primetimes starts offering services to private consignees

The service concept offered by the parcel service provider now also comprises delivery to private addresses:

With immediate effect the parcel service provider primetime now also delivers parcels to private consignees. With the expansion to the B2C segment the company reacts to the increasing popularity of online-shops.

"More and more of our business partners also offer services to private customers. Having a parcel service provider who delivers to business as well as private addresses is met with great interest", general manager Rainer Schwarz explains his motivation for entering the B2C segment. He rules out a committment in the mail order business.

Delivery to private addresses takes place from Monday to Friday. If noone is present the server will leave a delivery notification, send a text message or an e-mail and leave the parcel in the nearest Hermes parcel shop. The parcel can then be picked up within the next five work days. For COD consignments, parcels with supplementary insurance or identity checks there will be a second delivery attempt.

If the goods do not meet the customer’s expectations the primetime B2C business also offers the possibility to return the parcel to the consignor. In these cases the parcel needs to show a return receipt and be taken to one of the 1.400 Hermes parcel shops.

With meinpackerl.at, primetime has designed their own internet portal for a new customer segment. The present status of the parcel can be monitored with the parcel number or a PIN at any time.
