QSL remains Burger King’s logistics partner in Austria to 2021

After supply chain management contract renewal with Burger King: Quick Service Logistics aims to gain more customers in Austria

Quick Service Logistics (QSL) is to remain Burger King’s logistics partner in Austria to 2021. The companies agreed upon the continuation of their cooperation in the supply chain management of the Quick Service restaurants.

As a partner of the restaurant chain, QSL started their commitment by opening a branch in Laakirchen in Upper Austria in 2011. Since then, the owner managed company headquartered in Friedrichsdorf near Frankfurt am Main has been as a reliable partner of Burger King and distinguishes itself by a binding „Help Desk“, high delivery reliability and well trained drivers.

„For the customer we take of procurement, purchasing, bundling and storage of goods and of the delivery to the 41 restaurants. Thus Burger King can fully concentrate on their core business,“ says Stefano Madile, Director of Operations for Austria. „We also support the growth plans of the company, because we operate at all times very quickly to serve new stores. The contract renewal shows us that we are also perceived accordingly by Burger King.“

QSL supplies a total of more than 800 Burger King restaurants in eight European countries based on a proven concept: At least three times a week a multi-temperature truck with several different temperature zones approaches the restaurants and each provides a complete range of products – from frozen products, such as French fries, salads and meat to drinks – at a single stop.

„Our goal is to set up an all-inclusive package for our customers’ supply chain,“ said Stefano Madile. In addition to supplying the restaurants that means QSL buys the goods at customer-defined suppliers, takes over inventory management, order picking and complaint management with suppliers. In addition, the logistics provider ensures gapless traceability of the food and controls the entire cash flow.
