R. Wolfsberger Packaging to be integrated under the roof of Deufol

Deufol Group acquires Richard Wolfsberger Verpackungen GmbH and unifies its market image in Austria

 

The Deufol Group (former D.Logistics) has acquired 100 per cent of the Austrian company Richard Wolfsberger Verpackungen GmbH. The Wolfsberger company and the Austrian subsidiary Logis Industriedienstleistung GmbH will be merged into the Deufol Austria GmbH, based in Bruck an der Leitha.

The company, which will operate under the name Deufol Austria GmbH, provides packaging and associated services ranging from storage to dispatch handling, specialising in the field of export and industrial goods packaging. 7,500 m² factory area is available in Bruck an der Leitha. A 500m²-covered area and 48.000m² open space is also available, where industrial goods up to a weight of 150 tons can be packed individually. It is also possible to deliver, load and transport goods further by train using the direct rail connection.

This transaction is a further step within Deufol’s growth strategy, aiming to expand the market leadership not only in Germany, but also abroad. The location in Austria forms an additional bridge to the East European market and is of great importance for Deufol as a global provider of packaging services.

Their services are ranging from automated packaging to promotional & display packaging, export & industrial goods packaging, gift cards & data management and several added services.
