RCA gave the starting signal for its e-Cargo service

Rail Cargo Austria’s e-Cargo service offers quick information about transport and logistics orders:

With its e-Cargo service Rail Cargo Austria (RCA) provides its partner companies from the shipping industry access to information about cargo and logistics 365 days around the clock. In a press release the cargo segment of Austria’s national railway company (ÖBB) announces the starting signal for the new service. They refer to e-Cargo as a direct and fast way for efficient order management.

“e-Cargo enables us to offer a faster and more efficient service for the handling of transport orders“, the RCA release reads. Users receive information such as an overview of running and provided shipments, with continuous updating of the arrival time, or the latest version of the bill of lading by mouse-click. Moreover an electronic overview of provided wagons is available. Electronic converting of shipments and electronic tracking with up-to-date information for senders and recipients are included in the e-Cargo service.
